1. Get의 기본적인 의미(나가아서 잡는 느낌) 얻다, 구하다, 사오다.

I got you something.

I got you some coffee.(내가 너를 위해서 커피를 사왔어)

 * 누군가를 위해 간단히 커피한잔을 사올 때는 get, pick up ! not buy를 쓰자, buy는 약간 더 심각한 상황

You should get some sleep/rest 
(잠이나 휴식을 얻으러가는 느낌)

2. (나아가 점점 변화하는 과정을 강조) ~한 상태가 되다.

My coffee is getting cold. (커피가 차가워진다.)

I hope you get better soon. (점점 더 나아지면 좋겠다)

Get well soon.

3. 도착하다 - get

Call me when you get to work.

Call me when you get home

Get home safely.

 

4. 나아가 개념을 확실히 잡으며 이해하다

Get 사람 + to 동사원형

누군가로 하여금 나아가 무슨 일을 하게끔 만들 때 Make보다 부드러움
