2. 명사 work: 일, 공, 노력

*팀장이 밑에 직원들에게 말하는 것

Impressive work / job - 또 칭찬할 때 자주 쓰이는

I am impressed. - 대단하고 훌륭할 때 쓸 수 있다.

 

3. 되다. 먹혀들다, 효과가 있다. work

I don't think this wi-fi is working. (와이파이가 안되는 것 같아요)

I don't believe so ~~~is working: ~가 안되는 것 같아.

Does Monday work for you? (월요일에 시간 돼?)

4. work out: 운동하다/ 잘풀리다. 해결되다.

to happen or develop in a particular way.

잘풀리다. 해결하다.

5. Work on:  ~에 열심히 노력을 들이다/ 착수하다.

What are you working on? 뭐를 그렇게 열심히 하고 있어?

work on ~작업할 때, 프레젠테이션

You need to work on your people skills. (대인관계 능력을 높여야 할 것 같아.)

I am working on it. 열심히 하고 있습니다.

 

6. Work around: 피하는 방식으로 문제를 해결하다. 

We'll work around your schedule. (어떻게든) 네 일정에 맞출게.

7. work through: 해치우다. (감정적인 일을) 해결하다.

We can work through this. 힘들지만 잘 해결할 수 있어.

work through lunch: 점심시간에도 쉬지 않고 일하다.

I am going to work through lunch.

I work Monday through Friday. (월요일 부터 금요일까지 일합니다.)
